Steps to Cook the Best and Fluffy Rice

  • Measure 60g (approx 1/2 cup) of uncooked Daawat Basmati Rice per person.
  • Soak the rice in cold water for 30 minutes.
  • Rinse the soaked rice in a sieve with cold water.
  • In a large pan, add 2 measures of cold water to 1 measure of Daawat Basmati Rice.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until water is absorbed. Avoid opening the lid and stirring the rice.
  • Remove from heat and let it stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
  • Lightly fork through the grains before serving.</
