Kesar Mango are considered to one of the best mangoes in India and is known as Queen of Mangoes (kind of Mangoes being Alphonso). Kesar Mangoes are grown in Gujarat and western coast of India. While Kesar mango is similar to Alphonso mango in shape but has a different unique taste, has medium oblong shape, orange - red colour mush on it’s shoulders and has delightful, sweet flavour. The characteristic orange skin makes its name Kesar- Saffron.
Weight: This product is sold by pieces per box. One box contains 5-6 pieces. Approximate weight of the mangoes is between 1.0 - 1.4 kilo. Product weight is different from box to box and from one week to another.

Storing and Consuming
As per the new European regulations, mangoes need to be steam treated which makes the skin becoming some what softer and perishable than the other mango varieties and the fresh fruits. Therefore, storing and consuming requires a bit extra care and attention. Generally speaking. these mangoes remain happy at the room temperature. If outside is pleasant warm (more than 20 degree), please store them at cooler and darker place maintaining around 15-20 degree C. Usually kitchens or the areas where there's no direct sun-light are good places to store. When ripened, these can be store in refrigerator for 1-2 extra days. However, these mangoes should ideally be consumed with in 1-3 days from the receipt. However, please use your own judgement based on the colour and the softness of the fruit.
