To use Idli maker in the microwave, fill the pan with about 125ml water which steams idlis while being cooked.
Pour the idli batter in the Idli moulds, no oil is needed.
Put the idli stand in the pan and close the lid.
Turn microwave on at high, for 3-5 minutes. Cook for an extra minute or two if the idlis still feel sticky
While opening the container lid, be careful of steam.
