Anupam SS Cooker Pot (with Dhokla molds) - suitable for Induction

Anupam Sandwich bottom pan is made with heavy grade stainless steel. Being made with stainless steel, the metal parts can be dish-washed. This cooker is suitable for induction, hot plate and gas and is suitable for both Dhokla stand and Idly stand. This cooker comes with Dhokla stand. However, if you’d like to have Idly stand instead (no extra charge) or would like to have both Idly and Dhokla stands (with extra charge), please email us after placing your order.

• Brush the Idli moulds lightly with cooking oil and pour the idli batter in the Idli moulds
• Put the idli stand in the pan and close the lid tightly.
• Cook at high heat for 3-5 minutes. Cook for an extra minute or two if the Idli still feel sticky
• While opening the container lid, be careful of steam.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Wash the Idly pot before use. 
2. After putting Idly batter in plates put the Idly plates in the pot.
3. Water should be added upto 1.25 inches of the Idly pot.
4. Close the Lid.
5. Place the Idly pot on Gas or Induction Cooker.
6. The Whistling sound will come after few minutes.
7. 10-12 minutes is enough to prepare idlies in this Idly pot.
8. After whistling wait for few minutes to open the lid.

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not place idly pot on gas stove or induction without water.
• Do not touch on steel body after heat, tOuch only on handles and knobs.
