Ingredients for Masalebhat
- 1 cup short- or medium-grain rice
- 1.5 cups mixed vegetables
- 1.5 tbsp Bedekar Masalebhat Masala
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- Spices: mustard, cumin, asafoetida, curry leaves, turmeric
- 2.5 cups water, salt to taste
- Optional: grated coconut, fresh coriander
Instructions
- Heat oil, temper spices
- Add vegetables and turmeric, sauté
- Add masala, rice, salt
- Add water, cook covered
- Rest and garnish before serving
