Directions to use MTR Sambar Powder:
Cook 300g of vegetables of your choice. Keep aside.
Cook 45g (3 tbsp) of toor dal in 600ml of water with 1/2 tsp cooking oil and a pinch of turmeric.
Grind 1 tbsp (15g) of MTR Sambar Powder with grated coconut and a little jaggery (if desired).
Mix this with the cooked dal.Add cooked vegetables, tamarind extract and salt to taste.Boil for 5 minutes.
Prepare the seasoning of 1/2 tsp mustard and curry leaves in 1/2 tsp of cooking oil. Add to Sambar.
Tasty Tip:Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves and enjoy it with Rice, Dosa or Idli.
