Ingredients
  • 1 cup of Kesar or Alphonso Mango pulp
  • 1 cup of double cream (heavy cream)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Begin by pouring the double cream into a chilled bowl and adding the desired amount of sugar.
  2. Use an electric whisk to beat the cream and sugar on medium speed for approximately 4-5 minutes, or until soft peaks start to form.
  3. Incorporate the Kesar or Alphonso Mango pulp into the whippecream mixture.
  4. Continue whisking the combined mixture on medium speed for about 2 minutes, or until thoroughly blended. Be cautious not to over-whip.
  5. Take individual serving glasses or bowls and spoon a layer of mango pulp into the bottom of each.
  • On top of the mango pulp, add a layer of the prepared mango mousse.
  • To finish, garnish the mousse with a few fresh mango cubes.
  • Cover the glasses with plastic wrap and refrigerate for approximately30-40 minutes to allow the mousse to set.
  • Serve the creamy and delightful 3-ingredient mango mousse chilled.
  • Note:
    This recipe is a simplified variation of the traditional mousse, and without a stabilizer, the mousse may deflate over time. For the best texture and taste, it is recommended to consume the mousse shortly after preparation.
