Is there a minimum order Quantity for ordering?

No, there is no minimum order amount or quantity requirement. 

How Long does it take to get my order delivered?

We use fast courier services making a balance with cost effective shipping costs. Our experience is that parcels get delivered generally on the second or the third day after day of dispatch, depending upon the location. Here's is further detailed information on order processing and delivery time. 

Do you ship perishables to Italy?

Yes, we ship the perishables & frozen items to Italy regularly. Please refer to the detailed information here

Does the order get delivered at a pickup location or at home?

Orders are sent by reputed courier companies and get delivered by DHL. First delivery attempt always happens at the shipping-address provided in the order, followed by delivery at a near by pickup point.

Also, you can let us know if you would like to get your parcel delivered directly to a pickup location. We can look up in the network around your postcode and advice with the most suitable option.

Can the courier company call me before delivery?

Courier services do not call on phone before delivery of an order, delivery chauffeur shall however call on the intercom or doorbell if that is available and working. Also, we recommend that you provide your local Italian mobile number under shipping address while ordering, as you'd receive the applicable text messages regarding the status of your parcel.

Shortly after the dispatch of your order, you'd receive an automatic email containing track and trace link. Please also check your spam folder, in case you don't see this email in your inbox. . 

What happens if I'm not home at the time of delivery?

After the first attempt, parcel is delivered at a pickup location, where it remains for 7 days before it is returned back. Where applicable, you'd be able to see a detailed tracking at the tracking website of DHL using the parcel barcode of your order. In most of the cases, it would start with JVGL or 0521.

Is there a Free-Shipping available for Italy?

We offer very competitive shipping rates, often the cheapest in the market. However, we don't have a Free Shipping offer for Italy. 

What are the shipping charges?

If you order value is above 49.99€ : 9,99€ per parcel of 27kg each
If you order value is below 49.99€ : 12,99€ per parcel of 27kg each

While usually not the case, voluminous orders might require extra boxes even if the order weight is below 27 kilo. We use the maximum allowable box size in such cases, however, if the order doesn't fit in that size either, you'd receive an email communication about the same. What is the logic of 27 kg parcel, then?

There are weight and size limitations for transport of the goods in parcel, defined and set by Postal services. 

If I buy less than 27 kilo, why do I still pay the shipping for the whole parcel?

The order weight is set by Postal service. If your order is really small and that can fit in a mail-box, we can find out if there are cheaper rates. For such cases, please contact us here

Can I pay by direct bank transfer?

Yes, you can pay by direct debit from your bank account. Once you select Bank Transfer payment method during checkout, you'd receive the bank account number, SWIFT/BIC code and the beneficiary's name in the order confirmation email.

Do you take a non-Italian Credit or Debit Card?

Yes, It is possible to use your Indian or non-Italian credit & debit card (3D enabled) on our website. A 3D secure card is the one containing chip and mostly reads MasterCard Secure or Verified by Visa on the card. 

Can I return an item? What is the rerturn procedure?

Yes, you can return an item with in seven days of receipt from the day of delivery. Further information is available here.
